Thomas Jamois |
Active in the music publishing & sync business since 1997 (Virgin, Tricatel, Naïve) after a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in International Economics, Thomas founded Velvetica in 2011.
When he wants to get away from copyright for a little while, he sometimes acts as music supervisor for Film & TV, getting to collaborate with international pop artists such as Mogwai, Air, Timber Timbre, Sonic Youth…
Obviously, he mostly loves alternative music but he’s also a vinyl collector of space age pop, exotica and Música Popular Brasileira.

Johanna Bisac |
Johanna finished her Law studies with a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication Law at La Sorbonne.
She started working for the label Naïve and then joined the team of independent music publisher Blonde Music as copyright manager and assistant manager for artists Camille and Rose. She was also an independent manager for the artist Mina Tindle. After a short foray into the world of fashion industry, Johanna went back to music, joining Velvetica in september 2016.
As a former ski champion, Johanna will be able to advise you both on publishing matters as well as on the best slopes of the Alps.

Benjamin Coyault |
After studying French Literature at La Sorbonne, Political Science and Copyright Law at Sciences Po and McGill University, Benjamin worked for the music supervision agency Creaminal before joining Velvetica in 2015.
Always on the lookout for cool new music to listen to, Benjamin spends most nights attending live shows all over Paris, especially where alternative, post-punk or new wave music is played.

Naomi Baudin |
Naomi was born and raised in Tokyo, studied in Japan, Vietnam and Canada before graduating from Sciences Po in Lyon, France. After working at the music department of French movie major Gaumont, she joined Velvetica Music in 2018 to bring her experience in audiovisual music and her international background.

Dorian Baulery |
Even though he is Parisian to his very core, Dorian is the Swiss army knife of the team. After he got his license degree in Sound Engineering at ESRA (ISTS), he broadened his horizons by completing a Master's degree at EMIC, in the field of Music Management. Dorian spends most of his free time discovering and making new music.

Arnaud Gimat |
After learning the basics of music industry at indie label Alpage Records and the Flemish venue Beursschouwburg in Brussels, Arnaud worked five years developing Roy Music’s sync department « Roy Music Agency » and found his path in the publishing world.
Passionate about words and music, Arnaud listens to a lot of Hip Hop, French Chanson and darker atmosphere such as Industrial Techno, Doom & Black Metal. Well, basically anything that can give him goosebumps.

Adrien Anastaze |
After a decade of performing as a musician and studying at Ecole ATLA, Adrien switched from the front of the stage to the back office following his graduation from Les Formations d’Issoudun and the CNM workshop for publishers.
He then spent the last five years sharpening his skills in copyright and rights tracking for advertising and the audiovisual market.

Lucas Maschio Esposito |
After graduating from Sciences Po with a master’s degree in IP law, Lucas pursued his studies at EMIC, specializing in the music industry. It was thanks to this school that he was able to join Velvetica as copyright manager in 2021, and to continue the adventure within the team. In addition to handling French documentation, Lucas supports the team and customers on legal matters.
He is also a DJ in his spare time, it leads him to spend his weekends in clubs and warehouses to discover new talents and gems of the electronic scene.

Emily Dupré |
After studying languages in the University of Caen, France, Emily left her beloved Normandy for Seoul, South Korea, before joining Velvetica in 2022 while getting her Music Management’s Master degree at EMIC. Now graduated, she officially joined Velvetica as copyright and neighboring rights manager. Her free time is divided between video games, music (especially K-Pop and alt/pop), photography and podcasts.

Mélodie Thongphanh |
Graduated in Economics and languages (Mandarin and English) from Paris-1 and Sorbonne Nouvelle, Mélodie went on to pursue her passion for music with a degree in Music Management and Audiovisual Production at EMIC. As a Music Rights Manager at Velvetica, she uses her skills to support artists and publishers and safeguard their creations. A keen fan of dream-pop, hyperpop and alternative music, Mélodie is constantly seeking out new musical landscapes to dive into.

Paulina Galopin |
The youngest member of the Velvetica team, Paulina grew up (professionally speaking) right here, discovering both the music industry and the working world through two internships at the company during her Bachelor's degree in Artistic and Cultural Project Production and Distribution at ICART. A quick detour through Budapest for an Erasmus semester later, she came back for good as Copyright Manager, specialising in international rights and tracking. A true jack of all trades, she brings the same curiosity to everything she does: whether it's rap, pop or electronic music.
